Share the Joy link up #17
What ripples do you create in your world?
This week I received not one but two surprise gifts! A packet of pretty wild flower seeds arrived in the post from Carole from Carole Finds Her Wings and one of the first commentors on this blog over four years ago, Mich from Mummy From The Heart, sent me a beautiful necklace with a copper plaque that says, very simply, ‘choose joy’. How perfect is that for me? You can see it
With these very generous gestures Mich and Carole sent out a ripple that touched me and made me smile. I’ll be planting the wildflowers in a big blue pot at the end of our drive and I’ve put the plaque on my grandmother’s gold chain so I can wear it everyday to remind me of my journey to joy this year. Thank you so much ladies!
As bloggers we’re all sending out ripples into the world – sharing our stories, touching others with our words, making them smile, laugh, cry or just letting them know they’re not alone. We may not be changing the world, but we might be changing somebody’s world. And that is a powerful and wonderful thing, don’t you think?
Guest host
This week I’m delighted to have Stephanie from Life at 139a as my guest co-host so we will be sharing the commenting on your lovely posts!
Stephanie is a lifestyle blogger living in South London who is taking a career break after working for thirty years in the City. She’s a keen gardener who likes to eat what’s she’s grown and has recently taken up cycling on her beloved new old-fashioned bike! She loves to explore, sometimes it’s London, often it’s a National Trust garden and sometimes it’s further afield too. You’ll find stories about all of these, and more with plenty of photographs on her blog Life at 139a.
Right, on to the link up!
Thank you so much to everyone that joined in last week. I love reading all your joyful posts and I hope that sharing the joy brightens your day too.

This week I’m sharing my post about a review which saw our eldest peeling vegetables for the first time thanks to Joseph Joseph *proud* and a wonderful guest post from Beth at Betty and the Bumps about living with curly hair. Hope you enjoy them.

A lovely sentiment about ripples. It’s always been a goal of mine to create some kind of ripple with my blog. That someway, somehow my experiences with motherhood could help somebody else. Though my humble space in the internet may not seem much to most, I’d like to think that some faction of it will make a difference to someone someday. Thank you for hosting this week, Michelle. And a special welcome to Stephanie as well.
