Share the Joy link up #6

Share the Joy link up #6

“Do you recognise how good things really are?”

Love is in the air this week at Share the Joy! For Valentine’s Day the Little Man gave me this simple hanging card that he made at nursery school. It made me think about how sometimes we don’t actually realise how lucky we are, how good things really are. There are no words on his card, no poems, just his beautiful little hands. Little hands that hold mine, that reach up when he wants a hug, that might one day cup someones face as he kisses them. Little hands that show love and bring joy.

Joy is what happens when...

Right, on to the link up! Thank you to everyone that joined in last week – I’m loving reading all your joyful posts.

Don’t forget that all genres are welcome here – new posts or old favourites. Posts that might have made you laugh out loud, opened your heart, raised your spirits or just made you smile!

Sharing my joy

Each week, I’ll pick a favorite post and feature it on the following week’s Share the Joy link up (I’ve also made a  where you’ll find all my favorites in one place).

Truly Madly Kids

Last week I got a lump in my throat reading Jo Blackwell’s A Letter To My Daughters over at Truly Madly Kids, it’s such an honest and touching letter full of wisdom and love. I also loved the 12 ways to celebrating your wedding anniversary from Joy and Pops, particularly the one about the bookstore, genius!

This week I’m sharing a post that didn’t bring me joy so much from writing it as from the lovely comments that I’ve had! How to win at blog planing seems to have resonated with lots of people which is brilliant – I’m so happy to share my hints and tips if it helps others, after all we’re all in this fab blogging community together! I’m also sharing a post where I ponder whether I’m still loving using the Noom app that helped the husband and I lose 60lb last year.  I hope you like them.

Let’s Share the Joy!

1) Link up posts that have brought you JOY – Writing them might have made you laugh out loud, opened your heart, raised your spirits or just made you smile. All genres are welcome, new posts or old favourites and as many links as you like!

2) Link back to me either by including the Share the Joy badge (below) or a text link back to this Share the Joy linky page in your own post.

3) Please comment on one of my posts and a few others. Let’s Share the JOY through commenting as well as through our posts!

Share the Joy will run for a whole week until the following week’s linky is open, so you’ll never be too late. And don’t forget to tweet me the url to your post using the hashtag #sharethejoylinky so I can retweet it.

Feel free to invite your friends to join in – JOY is always better when it’s shared!
