Share the Joy linky #21

Share the Joy linky #21

What can you give yourself today that costs nothing?

This weekend I’ve been catching up on blog reading at Hands Free Mama and this post in particular resonated with me as the Summer holidays are just peeking round the corner. It’s about seeing Summer as a new beginning and one line -“learning to take a pause” – really resonated with me. Working with my sponsor, Noom, on preparations for BritMumsLive (less than two weeks away!), work on The Barn and on my new project; I haven’t been taking much me-time this week. And so today I will remember to pause – a gift to myself that costs nothing.

Only those who give can know joy

This week I’m delighted to be joined by Emma from Free From Farm who will be co-hosting with me and commenting on some of your posts. Emma’s blog is full of fun, laughter, a Labrador and a food allergic toddler and where Emma shares her family adventures and recipes free from milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts, sesame and garlic. Please give her a warm welcome and pop over to say hi!

Sharing my joy

Each week, I’ll pick a favorite post and feature it on the following week’s Share the Joy link up (I’ve also made a  where you’ll find all my favorites in one place).

R is for Hoppit

Last week I discovered a new blog find in R is for Hoppit and this brilliant post about toddler reading which I just know you’ll love. And I have to give two special mentions to Renee from Mummy Tries for keeping her head on a day when most of us would have definitely lost our cool and the fabulous Jess from Wry Mummy with this perfect reworking of one of my favourite poems!

This week I’m sharing two posts about the holiday that made me fall in love with Provence and going with the flow to rediscover myself. Hope you enjoy them x

Let’s Share the Joy!

1) Link up posts that have brought you JOY – Writing them might have made you laugh out loud, opened your heart, raised your spirits or just made you smile. All genres are welcome, new posts or old favourites and as many links as you like!

2) Link back to me either by including the Share the Joy badge (below) or a text link back to this Share the Joy linky page in your own post.

3) Please comment on one of my posts and a few others. Let’s Share the JOY through commenting as well as through our posts!

Share the Joy will run for a whole week until the following week’s linky is open, so you’ll never be too late. And don’t forget to tweet me the url to your post using the hashtag #sharethejoylinky so I can retweet it.

Feel free to invite your friends to join in – JOY is always better when it’s shared!

  1. It is always good to take a pause, it gives us a little moment to just be with ourselves and appreciate what we have, as well as giving us a break from the daily grind!
