Share the Joy link up #19

Share the Joy link up #19

What’s stopping you from jumping?

Over the weekend I sat and wrote out a long list of things we need to take for our press trip to a beautiful villa in Provence with James Villas next week. But half of my mind was distracted. Distracted by a project that’s been bubbling under for a while now, ever since we moved here to The Barn. I’ve been fretting about it; worrying whether it will work, whether it will fail. But spurred on by the nominations I’ve had in four categories of the MAD Blog Awards this year I’ve decided to go for it. To jump.

Don’t worry, Bod for tea isn’t going anywhere… but coming soon there’ll be a new kid on the block.

You will see a great chasm

Right, on to the link up!

Thank you so much to everyone that joined in last week – we had some new faces again – I’m loving reading all your joyful posts and I hope that sharing the joy brightens your day too.

Don’t forget that all genres are welcome here – new posts or old favourites. Posts that might have made you laugh out loud, opened your heart, raised your spirits or just made you smile!

Sharing my joy

Each week, I’ll pick a favorite post and feature it on the following week’s Share the Joy link up (I’ve also made a  where you’ll find all my favorites in one place).

Life with Bumps

Last week Ceri over at Life with Bumps (you’ll also find her at With Kindness) published Lessons for my Pregnant Self and I loved how it transported me back to the days when I was expecting our first, the roller coaster ride that is pregnancy!

This week I’m sharing a post about How to Learn Resilience From a Toddler and a review of what could be the the safest knife block in the world… hope you enjoy reading them.

Let’s Share the Joy!

  7. Sometimes Michelle you have to go in head first, that was how I took to motherhood and is often my strategy in life, you learn from your mistakes and what is the worst that can happen!

Thanks for the linky, I am jumping on a plane soon too! Into the unknown of baby travel!

  8. Can’t wait to see who the new kid on the block will be. Fretting and worrying is a tough thing to shake, but I’m glad you were able to. Sometimes jumping in head first into the deep end could be liberating, and sure there’s a chance of failure, but you never know the results until you try. Fret and worry or celebrate and be happy, it could go either way. So long as the attempt was there, that’s half the journey. Thank you for hosting us this week, Michelle! have a wonderful week :)

  10. Taking the plunge and jumping might seem scary at first but the anticipation is almost always worse than the event! Another brilliant quote!
